Winter might be here but looking back, Yemaya and crew had a terrific summer on the waters of Lake Michigan and others. The Sunday Sunset Cruise Club was onboard nearly every week to leave Saugatuck’s famous Red Dock and cruise the Kalamazoo River before popping out on Lake Michigan for one of West Michigan’s spectacular sunsets.

The weather was great for most of the summer although Yemaya can hadle just about anything. At 65,000 pounds and with a deep keel and sharp bow, she cuts through most waves with ease. With people onboard, the crew will do their best to keep the ride comfortable so there are days when the Saugatuck Cove is as far as we’ll go.

There’s still time for some great boat rides this summer so stay tuned.
